Operations

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, we love new patients!
Please contact us to register your child and make an appointment for your first consultation or well-child visit. For newborns, we recommend making your first appointment two weeks after birth. .

Do you accept walk-in patients?

Yes, however, we give priority to patients who have booked an appointment. 

How do I make or cancel an appointment?

If you would like to cancel your child’s appointment, please call us 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Do I need to bring extra diapers for my child’s appointment?

Yes, please bring extra diapers in case your child soils him or herself during their visit.
Additionally, if the child has a stool infection, we may need to take a sample from the child’s diaper and they would need to be changed subsequently.

Do you accept insurance?

What methods of payment do you accept?

The preferred mode of payment is by immediate online transfer or POS.

Do COVID-19 protocols apply to children?

Children are just as susceptible to COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses as adults and should follow all COVID-19 protocols including frequent hand washing, social distancing, and wearing maskings amongst others.

However, please note that children under the age of 2 are not required to wear masks.

How often does my child need to see the doctor?

Visits are scheduled upon registration depending on the age of the child and their school and vaccination schedules. 

What should I do if my child is unwell after hours?
Telephone consultations are available during business hours:

Monday – Friday :  8:00AM to 8:00PM
Saturdays             :  9:00AM to 3:00PM 

After these hours, please call our night line and the doctor on call will attend to you.

We request that after hours calls be reserved for urgent medical issues.

For emergencies that require immediate attention, such as seizures, loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, severe allergic reactions, severe breathing problems, please take your child to the nearest hospital. 

My child’s temperature seems high, should I be worried?

A temperature above 38 C or 100.4 F (forehead, ear, or rectal) is considered a fever.
A fever is a sign of an underlying illness and should be taken seriously.
Please keep a thermometer at home and contact us if your child has a fever.
 

I think my child needs to see a specialist, what do we do?

Please make an appointment with the pediatrician who will refer you to a specialist, if necessary, following an assessment of your child.

Do I need to test my child for COVID-19?

If your child has been exposed to a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patient or if your child has any symptoms of COVID-19, please contact us to arrange a test. 

COVID-19 Protocols

To ensure your safety and that of our team, please adhere to the following guidelines during your visit.

Before your visit
  1. All visits are strictly by appointment. Please call 07065859845 or 08093540899 or  fill the appointment form to book.
  2. Only one parent or guardian will be allowed to accompany a child.
  3. All patients will be required to wear masks. Please bring your own or purchase one at the Clinic before being seen. This is for your safety and ours.
  4. We still encourage telephone (virtual) consultations over physicalconsultations
During your visit
  1. Our Security personnel will check your temperature on arrival please cooperate with them and follow their instructions.
  2. Please wash your hands for twenty seconds (and your child’s) at the sink outside on arrival.
  3. All patients will be also provided with shoe coverings.
  4. Only one family at a time will be permitted into our waiting area/reception at a time.
  5. Hand sanitizers are provided throughout the facility, please use them frequently.
